Zaha Confesses Can Treat Racial From Fans MU And Liverpool
Wilfried Zaha said he was racially abused in social media on Saturday, shortly after Crystal Palace’s Crystal Palace manager accused West Bromwich players targeting the winger in their pre-season game.
Zaha posted a message on Instagram, which showed that his former club fans Manchester United and their rivals Liverpool had sent racial abuse to his timeline.
“If Manchester United and Liverpool fans feel better by calling me a black monkey, then please continue it if it makes your day better,” he wrote.
The 24-year-old winger received a lot of rough tackles during the Eagles’ 2-0 victory over The Baggies in a friendly in Hong Kong on Saturday, and his manager was clearly unhappy with it.
De Boer expressed his dissatisfaction with the treatment of Zaha, both from West Brom players and referees, after goals from Luka Milivojevic and Bakary Sako left West Bromwich Albion lagging behind.
“If you want to sell Premier League products and the beauty of the game, beauty is not such a tackle,” said the Dutchman.
“Of course when it is a clean tack, it does not matter, but they are really eyeing Wilfried Zaha so we can not accept it. He is one of the most exciting players in the Premier League and I do not want to think about him absent for several weeks or months, “he added.
“The first tackle to him should have a yellow card and then the opposing player knows that he can not do that anymore. But the referee gave him permission to do the tackle like that again. I have to give Wilf praise because he keeps quiet, talks to his feet and plays very well, “De Boer continued.
“Because of his speed, quality and technique, he can sometimes pass two or three players and he is so fast that he will be broken a lot. If the referee looks back, maybe he can get two or three more violations, “he concluded. (Source: ESPN)
