Monaco Brings Ghezzal From Lyon
Jaguar Ligue 1, Monaco has officially signed Algerian national team player Rachid Ghezzal on a four-season contract.
The 25-year-old was released in June by Lyon, where he struggled through the youth team and bagged 11 goals in 86 Ligue 1 games since 2012.
“I have the ambition to play at the highest level, be it with national or international teams, and the Monaco project, which won championship titles and up to Champions League playbacks, is really amazing,” Ghezzal said.
“After a few seasons at Lyon, I need a new challenge. Everything here is here to support you for an incredible season.
“I can not wait to meet my new teammates and start training.”
