Giovinco Not Squad Italian National Team Again, Agent Failed to Understand
Agent Sebastian Giovinco can not understand why Toronto FC’s striker has not been called into the Italian national team until now. He took this as an absurdity.
Italy coach Giampiero Ventura has announced his squad for the game against Spain and Israel earlier in the month. But in the list of names that there is still no figure of The Atomic Ant.
Giovinco himself still look good in MLS this season. He also just scored two goals in Toronto’s 3-1 win over Montreal Impact at the weekend. During the MLS career, the former Juventus player has scored 63 goals in 97 matches.
“It’s true things will work out, but Giovinco is nothing new,” Giovinco’s agent Andrea D’Amico told Tuttomercatoweb.
“He scored more than 60 goals in the last two and a half years in MLS, a remarkable record, no matter what the competition is.
“Why is not he called to the Italian squad? I feel unreasonable. Too bad a player with skills and characteristics like Giovinco is not used in the national team. ”
“Giovinco knows how to score goals in everything, even from free kicks, he is his club starter and absolute star in MLS.
“I do not understand why the players on the Italian team bench were called, but unfortunately the story has always been the same lately,” the agent said.
Since deciding career in MLS since two and a half years ago, Govinco’s door in the Italian national team was closed. In fact, since the change of coach from Antonio Conte to Gianpiero Ventura, Giovinco has never again strengthened the Gli Azzurri. (Source: Italian Football)
